Overcoming Challenges He is uniquely qualified to assist. Kevin’s demeanor, dedication, and expertise to motivate and get things done will inspire you and your participant(s). Kevin Frankeberger knows about overcoming challenges. Born with Nystagmus and other eye issues, he has been legally blind since birth. Through public schools and agency sponsored itinerate teachers, he excelled as both a scholar and leader. At age 11, he was appointed to a survey committee of the Columbus, OH school board. At 15, he was an Eagle Scout & recipient of the God and Country Award. He graduated high school at the age of 16 and continued his scholarship and leadership at New Mexico State University concluding with his doctorate studies at the Ohio State University. After a twenty year career culminating as owner of his own consulting firm, a debilitating auto accident in 1995 suspended his life. Emerging now years later with his chronic pain under control, Kevin is available to assist your participants to help them overcome, deal and achieve as well. With his guide dog, Kevin’s wonderful personality, full of humor yet “get tough” attitude awaits others. Kevin’s skill in helping others in need has been recognized nationally through Easter Seals Project ACTION. Perhaps most noting was his ability to support his own dad from the trauma of stroke (TIA), in transitioning from home to nursing home to home once again by getting community support structures in place and removing barriers. Kevin’s father was able to again be in his own home safely and with dignity. Consultation Services:
